With the Premier League season done and dusted, attention turns to Wembley and Saturday’s FA Cup Final.

With Manchester City looking to complete a domestic treble and Watford seeking to win their first ever FA Cup trophy, our man Ray Parlour has given his predictions for the big game.

Manchester City vs. Watford

Manchester City will be bouncing into this game after wrapping up the Premier League title. I remember what it was like at Arsenal when we’d won the league in 1997/98 and then had the FA Cup Final against Newcastle to come. We couldn’t wait to get out there and make it a double.

We won the title with a couple of games to go so were able to rest a few players, but even though City got taken to the final day before they were crowned Champions, they’ll have had nearly two weeks since that game at Brighton and with the opportunity to complete the domestic treble, they really won’t need any extra motivation.

For Watford, getting to Wembley caps a really great season for them under Javi Gracia. If they could actually go on to win it, then it would surely go down as one of the best campaigns in the club’s history.

Supporters of the Hornets will be thinking back to when Wigan Athletic played City in the 2013 Cup Final and, even as massive underdogs, pulled off one of the biggest shocks. That’ll definitely give Watford plenty of inspiration. But for me, I can only see Pep Guardiola’s side lifting the trophy.

They’ve got so many world class players to call upon, that even if Pep decides to freshen it up they’ll have more than enough quality on the pitch to win this.

Watford have got some technically very good players, like Doucouré, Deulofeu and Capoue. And with Troy Deeney leading from the front, you know they won’t make it easy for City.

But ultimately, I wouldn’t be surprised if Man City win at Wembley and keep a clean sheet in the process. They have been very good defensively this season and with Aguero, Sterling and Bernardo Silva on fire at the moment, they’ll prove too hot to handle.

Manchester City to win to nil @ 10/11

Manchester City to win 2-0 @ 9/2
