Aston Villa can reach the Championship play-off final with a win at West Brom and Portland can take advantage of Golden State Warriors’ injury issues in Game 1 of their Conference Finals series.
Aston Villa win and both teams to score@ 16/5
Villa hold a 2-1 lead over West Brom after the first leg of their Championship play-off semi-final and they can secure a place in the final at Wembley with a draw or a win at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies have some big selection problems as forwards Dwight Gayle and Hal Robson-Kanu are both suspended, while Craig Dawson, Gareth Barry and Jake Livermore are all rated as doubts.
Albion have to push forward to get back into the tie and that should allow Villa chances on the break. West Brom should be able to get a goal – they’ve only failed to score in one of their last 20 home games – but Villa can still claim a win and an away victory with both teams to score stands out in this one.
Portland Trail Blazers Moneyline @ 13/5
Golden State Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers begin their Western Conference Finals series tonight at the Oracle Arena.
Portland’s road record in the regular season wasn’t particularly impressive at 21-20 but since the postseason began they have stepped up a gear and claimed two wins at Denver Nuggets in the previous round.
Golden State won all three home games against Houston Rockets in the previous round but aren’t unbeatable at home and lost twice to an average Los Angeles Clippers side in the first round at the Oracle.
The Warriors are without DeMarcus Cousins and Kevin Durant at present, although both should be able to make a return during this series depending on how long it lasts.
If the Blazers are to produce a huge upset and reach the Finals they need at least one win at the Warriors and tonight may well be their best chance.
