Leeds look likely to go through

It will be all eyes on Elland Road on Wednesday evening as Leeds and Derby battle it out for a place in the Championship play-off final.

Kemar Roofe scored the only goal in Saturday’s first leg at Pride Park and another cagey game is likely.

Under 2.5 goals @ 1/1

While Leeds won 1-0, it should have been more. The Whites dominated possession but not for the first time this season, failed to take their chances and have only managed to score more than once in one of their last six matches.

Derby for their part did not register a single shot on target at the weekend and have a torrid record against the Whites. The West Yorkshire side have won all three meetings between these two this season at an aggregate of 7-1.

After August’s 4-1 win for the Whites, the two subsequent meetings have been a bit tighter and that might be the same on Wednesday.

Leeds to win to zero @ 19/10

The hosts still look a good bet though after bouncing back from taking just one point from their final four games of the regular season.

History is also on their side, as of the previous 17 teams to lose the first leg of a Championship play-off semi-final at home none have made it to Wembley.

Derby have also won just one of their last 10 away from home and appear tough to back here.

Total Bookings – Over 5 @ 4/5

These two have had plenty of headlines written about them this season following the ‘Spygate’ incident earlier this season.

This could be a tasty affair and expect some fiery challenges, especially with the likes Kalvin Phillips and former Leeds man Bradley Johnson lining up against each other in midfield.

A bet on the number of bookings is well worth a look, while an Over 0.5 Red Cards bet is tempting at 16/5.
