Rangers will be looking to make it back to back wins over Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday but it won’t be easy for Steven Gerrard‘s men against the Premiership champions.
The Lights Blues have made progress under Gerrard this season but they still find themselves some way off pushing their Old Firm rivals hard for the title.
Ryan Jack’s winner in the 1-0 win over Celtic in December was the highlight of Gers’ season in the Premiership and Gerrard will be hoping his side can grind out another positive result this weekend.
With Celtic already having wrapped up the Premiership title and with a Scottish Cup final to look forward to, Rangers might be the more focused on earning the bragging rights this weekend.
Of course, Neil Lennon will be thinking of nothing else than securing a win at Ibrox as he looks to prove he is the man to lead Celtic next season after the departure of Brendan Rodgers to Leicester City.
There has not been much between these two teams in their three meetings so far this season and it might well be another cagey affair this weekend.
Three goals were scored in their last meeting at Parkhead but the game was opened up after yet another sending off for Gers’ striker Alfredo Morelos.
There might not be as many goals this weekend and the under 2.5 offers some good value for what should be another fiery encounter between two great rivals.
