Sarries to go step closer to Euro hat-trick

European Champions Cup semi-finals weekend is upon us, with Saracens and Munster kicking things off at Allianz Park on Saturday.

Saracens to win by 1-10 points @ 37-20

Two giants of the European game get the weekend’s action underway and this encounter should have a Test match feel about it.

With so many England and Ireland internationals going head-to-head, this will be a titanic tussle, one that Saracens should edge.

Munster only just scrapped past Edinburgh in the quarter-finals and, on home soil, Sarries should go a step closer to what would be a third European crown in their history.

Toulouse to win @ 43/20

Having won this competition in its various different guises on four previous occasions, it’s great to see Toulouse getting back to their former selves.

The side are playing some of the best rugby on the continent at the moment and deservedly lead the way in the Top 14 as they prepare to make the trip to Leinster on Sunday.

France starlet Romain Ntamack continues to impress in the number 10 jersey and they will need his creative talents to be on point if they are to break down Leinster this weekend.

Once again it should be another tight affair but, having seen off much-fancied Racing 92 in the quarter-finals, there is so much momentum behind this Toulouse side.

Notoriously French sides don’t tend to travel well but, with so much talent in their roster, Toulouse have the ability to pick up a famous win on the road.

This season’s final could well be a sea of black and red at St James’ Park in what would be a mouth-watering final between Saracens and Toulouse.
