Juventus should have the quality and experience to end Ajax’s Champions League bid this evening and San Antonio Spurs can open up a 2-0 lead over Denver Nuggets in the NBA playoffs.
Juventus win and both to score @ 43/20
Juventus still have some work to do to book a place in the Champions League semi-finals after a 1-1 draw with Ajax in Amsterdam in the first leg of their last eight clash.
Juve welcome back star forward Cristiano Ronaldo after a two-game injury absence but they are missing key defender Giorgio Chiellini.
The visitors go into the game knowing they need to score and they can grab a crucial away goal, but Juve should still have the quality to come through against their less experienced opponents.
Ajax have scored an incredible 106 goals in 30 games in their domestic league this season and have scored in all nine of their Champions League games this year since the start of the group stages – despite coming up against the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
The Dutch outfit can grab a goal in Turin, but Juve should be too strong and can secure the win they need to reach the last four.
San Antonio Spurs @ 9/4
San Antonio overcame Western Conference second seeds Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of their NBA playoff series and can take a 2-0 lead back to Texas with another win at the Pepsi Center tonight.
The Nuggets looked a little jaded in that first game, and the Spurs are a well drilled unit who are capable of causing any team problems.
San Antonio appeal at 9/4 in the moneyline but if you want to play this one a little safer the 25/27 on the visitors with a +7 handicap in the spread is another option.
