Gunners need to sting Hornets

Arsenal head to Vicarage Road to take on Watford on Monday evening knowing that they need a win to avoid losing ground in their push for a top-four finish.

The Gunners fell to a 1-0 defeat at Everton last time out and they cannot afford another slip-up against the Hornets, who will no doubt be buzzing after reaching the FA Cup final by beating Wolves 3-2 last time out.

Arsenal to win, both teams to score @ 47/20

Unai Emery’s men responded to the loss to the Toffees by claiming a fine 2-0 Europa League win at home to Napoli and the Gunners have now kept four clean sheets in their last five games.

However, the hosts have scored in each of their last six matches, so goals may well be on the cards come Monday evening, and both teams to score is  1/2 but a Gunners win and both teams to score at 47/20 as a much better option.

Just who will be among the goals is another conundrum to try and solve, although for the home side skipper Troy Deeney at 37/20 to score at any time in the game has to be worth considering, especially as he has netted in each of his last two games.

Aaron Ramsey to score at any time @ 13/5

For the visitors soon to be Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey is a man in form after scoring in two of his last three games and he could offer decent value at 13/5 to net at any time against the Hornets.

Less certain are the prospects if you plump for either Alex Lacazette (1/1), or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (5/7).

Lacazette has scored just once in his last six games, while Aubameyang has failed to find the net in his last three, having been hit by illness in recent times.
