Barca too hot for Solskjaer’s United

Barcelona should have too much quality for Manchester United in the Champions League tonight and Hull City are on course for another home win in the Championship.

Barcelona -1 @ 12/5

Barcelona have never won at Manchester United’s Old Trafford home and they can put that right with a fairly comfortable victory in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

United go into the game with three defeats in their last four games after that famous win at Paris Saint-Germain in the last round of this competition.

All of those losses have been on the road, but at home they have not always been convincing and this in-form Barca side should be able to do some damage.

The Catalan giants have just one defeat in their last 16 games and are unbeaten in eight on their travels. Barca have managed 16 goals in their last five away matches and can beat a -1 handicap in this match-up in Manchester.

Hull City to beat Wigan @ 11/10

Hull may sit 12th in the Championship table but they still have an outside chance of reaching the play-offs and can keep their slim promotion hopes alive with a win over visitors Wigan this evening.

The Tigers are unbeaten in 11 at home and have managed nine wins during that run.

The Latics have the worst away record in the division, with just seven points to show from 20 games so far, and they could well be heading for a 16th away league loss of the campaign at Hull.
