A London derby rounds off this weekend’s Premier League action as Chelsea host West Ham on Monday evening.
The Hammers have a poor record at Stamford Bridge, with their last win at the ground coming in 2002, and with their season stuttering to an end, it looks like the Blues should have too much.
Chelsea to win to zero @ 23/20
Maurizio Sarri remains unpopular among the Chelsea faithful but while the football may not be riveting, results have been good in SW6. In fact, another victory here at 4/13 would make it 13 points gained from the last 15 available.
Wednesday’s 3-0 win over Brighton was routine to say the least and the same is likely on Monday evening against a team with a torrid away record.
Chelsea to win 2-0 @ 5/1
After a record-breaking December, the Hammers have flirted with Europe at times but have seemingly been cowed by the prospect of continental football and head into the game sat 11th in the table, five points shy of seventh place Wolverhampton.
One point from the last seven games away from home is poor by anybody’s standards and it is even more worrying for their fans when you consider they have scored only once in their last four on the road.
Eden Hazard – Anytime Goalscorer @ 4/5
Four goals in as many games for club and country shows Eden Hazard is back in form and with rumours of a move to Real Madrid still doing the rounds, he will be desperate to impress.
With him likely to sit out the Europa League game on Thursday, Hazard will be going full bore and will feel he has a point to prove after being negated in the first game these two played, a 0-0 draw back in September.
That marked the first time under Sarri that Chelsea dropped points but a similar story is unlikely in this one and the Blues should run out comfortable winners.
