Liverpool can keep their title push on track and put a dent in Tottenham’s top-four hopes by winning Sunday’s vital Premier League clash between the two teams at Anfield.

The Reds can take advantage of Spurs’ poor recent form – Mauricio Pochettino’s side have only picked up one point from their last four top-flight encounters – and keep the pressure on defending champions Manchester City.

Firmino to score the first goal @ 5/1

Liverpool have an excellent recent record against Spurs, winning eight and losing one of the last 13 matches between the two sides in all competitions, while their unbeaten record in the league at Anfield is now a very impressive 36 games.

Sadio Mane has been in rich form recently while Roberto Firmino has struggled. The Brazilian has failed to score in eight of his last nine appearances but Sunday’s game would be the perfect time for him to get back among the goals.

Spurs, 1/2 to finish in the top four, have lost five of their last six away matches in all competitions, and were beaten 2-1 by Liverpool at Wembley in September. Another 2-1 win for Jurgen Klopp’s team on Sunday can be backed at 6/1.

Chelsea to win 2-0 @ 9/2

Cardiff City, who are 2/1 not to be relegated, gave themselves a great chance of beating the drop by beating West Ham 2-0 in their last match three weeks ago and Neil Warnock will have prioritised which games are the key ones for his team in the last six weeks of the campaign.

Sunday’s match against Chelsea may not be one of them and anything other than a defeat for the Bluebirds will be a bonus for Warnock.

Cardiff still have to play Burnley, Brighton, Fulham and Crystal Palace and those will be the matches Warnock will be keen to take something from.

Chelsea, who thrashed Cardiff 4-1 at Stamford Bridge six months ago, have been dire away from home recently, losing four of the last five games on their travels since the turn of the year. However, they can keep their top-four hopes alive by easing to a routine victory in Wales on Sunday.
