Hoops eyeing Rangers revenge

After suffering a 1-0 defeat at Ibrox in their last meeting, Celtic are looking for revenge on Sunday when they host Rangers at Parkhead.

With 10 points between the two sides, a win for Celtic would all but end the title race but a Gers’ victory means it could be back on.

Celtic to win @ 20/27

Despite the defeat in the last Old Firm encounter, the Hoops have every reason to be confident going into the weekend’s encounter.

October 2010 was the last time Rangers managed to win a league game at their old rivals.

Veteran midfielder Steven Davis says he still remembers that victory and he will be looking to use that experience in trying to get the three points for manager Steven Gerrard this weekend.

There is no doubting Gerrard has helped the blue side of Glasgow narrow the gap but Celtic still have that edge and home soil they might just be able to reclaim the city’s bragging rights.

Red card in the match @ 17/10

This fixture is renowned around the world for the fiery atmosphere and the combative football on show.

Last season these two teams met each other six times and in two of those games there were red cards.

Gers striker Alfredo Morelos has already been shown four red cards this season (one rescinded later) and he looks a prime candidate for another potential sending off, while he could also draw tackles and get under the skin of some of the Celtic players in what will be a cauldron of emotions at Parkhead.
