Jaguars can see off Patriots

There were some big scores in Week One of the NFL, with some teams getting their seasons off to a flying start.

Week Two promises to provide some more intriguing showdowns and there is value to be had in some of the high-profile battles on Sunday.

Jacksonville Jaguars to win @ 1/1

Last season’s runners-up, the New England Patriots, make the trip to TIAA Bank Field to face one of the meanest defences in the NFL in the form of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jacksonville conceded the least amount of yards in the NFL last season and got their campaign off to a positive start with a 20-15 victory against the New York Giants.

Quarterback Tom Brady and his Patriots outfit also got off to a winning start themselves against a struggling Houston Texans franchise.

Jacksonville, though, will be tough to beat on their own patch this season and the Jaguars might just be able to edge out the experienced stars from New England.

Kansas City Chiefs to win @ 7/4

Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes has made a positive start to the season and was named AFC Player of the Week for his efforts in a 38-28 win on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Mahomes, at just 22, looks to have a bright future ahead of him and the Chiefs will fancy their chances when they head to the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Pittsburgh had an opening weekend to forget after they were held to a 21-21 draw by the Cleveland Browns.

It appears it could be a stuttering start to the season for the Steelers and the Chiefs might be able to capitalise on their rustiness at this early stage of the campaign.
