Potter to cast his spell on Leeds

Swansea City can bring Leeds United’s perfect start to the Championship season to an end when the two teams meet at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday.

Despite having to sell or loan out a host of players including Lukasz Fabianski, Kyle Bartley, Alfie Mawson, Sam Clucas, Andre Ayew and Ki Sung-yueng since the end of last term, new Swans boss Graham Potter has put together a youthful team that have taken seven points from their first three matches.

Swansea to beat Leeds @ 21/10

Leeds have nine points out of nine but struggled to break down a limited Rotherham United team on Saturday and, with the games coming thick and fast in August, Marcelo Bielsa’s side could come unstuck in South Wales.

Bristol City can add to QPR’s woes by beating Steve McClaren’s struggling outfit at Ashton Gate.

QPR lost many of their experienced stars over the summer and it showed on Saturday when they produced an inept display in the 7-1 humbling at West Brom.

Bristol City to win at QPR @ 19/10

The Robins also look set for a season of struggle but such is the paucity of talent currently available to McClaren at Loftus Road, City can win their first game of the campaign at the fourth attempt on Tuesday.

Derby to beat Ipswich 1-0 @ 23/4

Frank Lampard looks as though he has a job on his hands to lift Derby County into promotion contention as the Rams have lost two of their first three matches and appeared to be defensively naive in Saturday’s 2-1 loss at Millwall.

However, they could not have asked for a much better midweek fixture than the visit of a limited and winless Ipswich Town team.

Lampard will be keen to keep a first clean sheet, available at 5/4, of the Championship campaign so a narrow victory for County may be a good bet.
