Swiss outfit FC Basel reached the last 16 of the Champions League last season and can take a step towards the group stages with a win at PAOK Salonika today.
Basel to win @ 33/10
Basel had an excellent away record in the Champions League last term, with wins at CSKA Moscow, Benfica and Manchester City.
The Swiss side have been involved in Europe’s top tournament in each of the last two seasons and will have their sights on another group stage appearance.
Basel do have a few men missing and have struggled in pre-season, but they should have the quality to grab a first-leg lead in Greece regardless.
Lopez to beat Delbonis @ 21/20
Feliciano Lopez comes up against Federico Delbonis on the clay courts of Gstaad this afternoon and the Spaniard should be able to come out on top.
This is the world number 66’s first outing since Wimbledon and Argentine Delbonis has played three matches on clay since the Grand Slam event.
However, the pair met at SW19 and Lopez secured a 3-0 win in dominant fashion, winning 6-3 6-4 6-2 in just an hour and 30 minutes.
Lopez also leads the head-to-head 2-0 and can see off Delbonis again in Switzerland.
