Fulham face Aston Villa in the Championship play-off final on Saturday and the Cottagers can end a four-year absence from the top flight with a victory inside the 90 minutes.
Fulham to win 27/20.
The Cottagers slipped to a defeat at Birmingham in their final match of the regular season as they saw a 19-match unbeaten run come to an end.
Fulham then went down to Derby in the first leg of their play-off semi-final, despite dominating, before fighting back to overcome the Rams in the second leg.
Slavisa Jokanovic’s side were the Championship’s form team in the latter half of the season and they looked a quality outfit against Derby, while Villa failed to really impress as they limped past Middlesbrough.
Both sides have some star names but Fulham’s forwards, particularly Ryan Sessegnon and loan star Aleksandar Mitrovic, could well prove the difference and I expect them to secure the win without the need for extra time or penalties at Wembley.
Fulham to win 2-0 37/4.
If you fancy an exact score bet a 2-0 victory for the Londoners appeals in this match-up. When Fulham win they have a habit of keeping clean sheets as six of their last seven wins have come to nil and they may well be able to keep Villa quiet on Saturday.
Steve Bruce’s men only managed one goal in their two games against Boro and have just two goals in their last four games. I’m expecting a fairly tight contest but if Fulham can grab a lead they may well strike again late on as Villa pile men forward and 2-0 looks good value at 37/4.
