Chelsea suffered a shock loss to Bournemouth last week and I’m expecting them to respond at Watford this evening.
The Blues struggled to carve out chances against the Cherries but Watford should be easier to break down, and the arrival of Olivier Giroud has given boss Antonio Conte the target man he has been so desperate to bring in.
The Hornets secured a draw at Stoke in their last fixture but that has done little to improve their situation as they sit just four points clear of danger.
Watford have managed just one win in their last 12 Premier League games, suffering eight defeats during that time, and it is hard to see anything other than a Chelsea win – despite that loss to Bournemouth.
The visitors’ away form has been mixed of late and they only have four wins in their last 10 in all competitions on the road, but they have only lost twice during that run and can claim a much needed three points in their bid for a top four finish this evening.
Chelsea, who have won five of their last seven meetings with Watford without defeat, are 20/33 to claim the win but the 6/4 on an away win to zero is my top bet in this Premier League clash, as Watford have been unable to find the back of the net in their last three games.
