Liverpool travel to Swansea this evening and after seeing off Manchester City last time out the visitors should be able to halt their hosts’ mini revival.
The Swans have gone three games unbeaten and put in a decent display in midweek when seeing off Championship high-fliers Wolves.
Liverpool, however, are a different proposition entirely and they could hand Swansea a hefty defeat in South Wales this evening.
The Reds have been in a rich vein of scoring form and put five past Swansea at Anfield on Boxing Day. Liverpool look a little short in the win market and they can’t really be trusted with handicaps as they tend to concede on a regular basis, and with that in mind the 5/4 on over 2.5 Liverpool goals is my top bet in this match-up.
There is also action from La Liga today as Eibar host second from bottom Malaga and I can only see this one going one way.
Malaga have lost 10 of their 11 away games in all competitions this season and have managed a meagre five goals along the way.
