West Ham host Chelsea in the early Premier League kick off on Saturday and David Moyes’ wait for a first win as Hammers boss should stretch a little longer.
The east London outfit gave Manchester City a bit of a scare in their last outing as it took a late David Silva goal to secure the win for the league leaders.
Since taking charge Moyes has managed just one point from a possible 12 but performances have arguably improved and they should give Chelsea a test at Saturday lunchtime, even if they do eventually slip to defeat.
Chelsea are 10/17 to claim the win but we can do a little better in this early Premier League kick off and the 59/20 on a draw/Chelsea result in the half-time/full-time market is my top bet in this match-up.
West Ham have looked better defensively under Moyes, aside from a mauling at Everton, and they will make it hard for Chelsea to break them down.
Four of the Blues’ last six goals in all competitions have come in the second half, and they may struggle to make a breakthrough in the early stages at the London Stadium on Saturday.
There is also an early kick off in La Liga on Saturday as Getafe host Eibar in a mid-table tussle. Getafe have won their previous three La Liga games on home soil and can claim all three points at 1/1 against Eibar, who have lost six of their last seven on the road.
