Top flight football returns across Europe tonight after the international break and the Premier League resumes with a north London derby in the early kick off tomorrow afternoon.
Arsenal have endured a tough start to the season but their home form has been excellent. Arsene Wenger’s men have won all five of their Premier League games at the Emirates Stadium so far this season and they’ve won 10 league games in a row at home going back to last season.
However, Tottenham have an impressive record on the road and have won four of their five away games in the league so far, with one defeat coming at Manchester United.
The Gunners are yet to face anyone with the same quality as Spurs on home soil this season and I’m tempted by the visitors in this one.
Recently these north London derby matches have been tight affairs and three of the last five have ended in draws but Spurs appear to have made another step up this season, while Arsenal still look a little low on confidence – especially against the bigger teams as they’ve been well beaten by both Liverpool and Man City.
In the Bundesliga this evening Borussia Dortmund head to Stuttgart in desperate need of a win to ease the pressure on under-fire boss Peter Bosz. BVB have been in poor form of late but the international break may have been just what they needed to regroup and they should have the quality to claim the win later, and a Dortmund win with both teams to score at 7/4 could be the way to go in this match-up.
