The Champions League takes centre stage this evening and Celtic could be in for another tough night against Bayern Munich.
Thirteen days ago the German giants overcame the Scottish champions 3-0 with ease and the margin of victory could have been much greater for Jupp Heynckes’ men.
Celtic do have a decent record at home in Europe and have only lost three of their last 16 home games in the Champions League.
However, against top-class opposition they have struggled, losing 2-0 to both Barcelona and Borussia Monchengladbach last season and going down 5-0 to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this year.
Bayern have been flying since Heynckes returned, with four wins and a draw, in the DFB Pokal against RB Leipzig in a tie they won on penalties.
All but one of Bayern’s victories since Heynckes took charge have come by at least a two-goal margin and they have only conceded once during that time, against Leipzig, so an away win to zero at 13/10 also appeals.
In a more competitive fixture, Roma host Chelsea in what could be a cracking encounter after their 3-3 draw at Stamford Bridge in the previous round of games.
The Premier League side have not looked at their best in recent weeks despite the fact they head to Rome seeking a fourth successive win.
Chelsea needed two late goals to beat Watford and made hard work of beating Bournemouth at the weekend, so a Roma win at 33/20 could be the way to go in this clash.
