Karen Khachanov made an impact at the French Open and can begin his grass-court campaign with a win over Gilles Simon today in Halle, Germany.
Khachanov, 21, managed his best ever Grand Slam result in Paris last month by reaching the fourth round, where he went down to Andy Murray.
The big-serving Russian managed to break the world number one’s serve twice and demonstrated there is more to his game than simply power.
While Khachanov’s career is on the rise, 32-year-old Simon is in the latter stages of his adventure, but is still a handy player on grass so this should be an interesting clash.
The Russian may be a bit of an unknown quantity although his game in France looked suited to grass and he could be too powerful for the veteran Frenchman.
At Queen’s Club there is an all-Serbian affair today as Viktor Troicki comes up against Janko Tipsarevic in what looks a competitive match.
Troicki’s game is probably the better suited to the surface and he is the higher ranked of the two veterans.
Troicki is 27/20 to claim the win and that looks to be the value bet at Queen’s.
