Crystal Palace have had a season to forget but they may well be able to end the campaign with a win at Manchester United.
United manager Jose Mourinho has made no secret of his plans to field a weakened team against in the final round of fixtures ahead of the Europa League final on Wednesday.
Keeper Joel Pereira, 20, is expected to be given his Premier League debut, while fellow youngsters Angel Gomes, Josh Harrop, Demi Mitchell and Scott McTominay may also be involved in some capacity against Palace.
The visitors no longer have the threat of relegation hanging over them so can play with no real pressure, although some may still be playing for the futures at the club as boss Sam Allardyce is likely to be fairly busy in the summer transfer window. The Eagles have also picked up notable wins over the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in their last 10 matches so they do have form when it comes to beating the big boys.
Palace are 17/10 to win the match but the 15/4 on an away win with both teams to score is my top be for this Premier League clash. The game is essentially a dead rubber and there may well be more lapses in concentration defensively than if there was something to play for, so hopefully we’ll see a few goals at both ends tomorrow.
