West Brom take on Leicester in a mid-table clash at the Hawthorns today and I’m backing a win for the visitors, while Crystal Palace can continue their fine form with a victory over Burnley.
The Foxes have gone five games without a win but they’ve had some tough fixtures during that run, having played two Champions League games against Atletico Madrid as well as three Premier League away days at Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Everton.
Meanwhile, the Baggies form has nosedived since reaching that magical 40-point mark with just one win in their last seven, although that was an impressive success over Arsenal.
The most concerning thing for Albion boss Tony Pulis right now though is probably a lack of goals, as the three they managed against the Gunners have been their only strikes during that seven game run.
Leicester rarely go a game without scoring and they’ve only failed to find the back of the net twice in their last 12 outings, and those results came at Arsenal and Atletico.
Both teams may be struggling for form but the fact Leicester have at least been scoring, and they’ve had the tougher games, suggests an away victory could be on the cards here and at 9/5 a win for the Foxes is my top bet for this Premier League showdown.
In the late game two sides heading in opposite directions meet as Crystal Palace host Burnley. The Clarets looked home and dry in January but a run of just one win in 11 has left them looking over their shoulders again.
Palace have won six of their last nine and now sit above Saturday’s opponents in the standings. And at 10/13 look a solid bet to claim all three points today.
