It was goals galore in Serie A last weekend as remarkably nineteen of the twenty teams all found the back of the net at least once.
Genoa were the only team to fail to make it a clean sweep as they unsurprisingly lost to a Juventus side who have the target of not just conquering Italy once again this season, but also Europe.
On Friday night, The Old Lady can go a long way to clinching that record breaking 33rd Italian top flight title, but to do it they will have to face a side of heavenly proportions in the Goddesses of Atalanta.
Atalanta have been a revelation this season and currently occupy fifth, just one point behind Lazio in fourth.
Juventus may be forgiven for having one eye on their Champions League semi-final with Monaco on Wednesday night, do not be too surprised to see an impressive Atalanta take the three points at 49/20 with us.
As the only side, not to score last weekend, Genoa head coach Ivan Jurić will be keen to see his side make the net bulge as he welcomes Chievo to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday afternoon.
Both sides occupy the bottom half of the table with Chievo in 12th and Genoa in 16th. Genoa also find themselves not mathematically safe from the drop and will be keen to secure some much-needed points.
The standout fixture of the weekend sees Roma and Lazio contest the Derby della Capitale early on Sunday afternoon.
The match has often been a fiery affair and there is little to suggest this weekend’s tie will be any different, especially with both sides having plenty to play for.
Roma occupy second in the league and still have an outside chance of the title just eight points behind leaders Juventus.
However, they are having to keep an eye over their shoulder on Napoli in third who are only four points further back.
Lazio’s chances of sneaking a top three finish (and final Champions League spot) look all but extinguished, however, they will want to ensure they hold onto fourth from a face charging Atalanta who are just a point behind.
Bragging rights are also up for grabs making this a fascinating affair in the capital city with both sides keen to dent their opponents progress.
Juventus travel to high flying Atalanta on Friday night and they may have one eye on their Champions League semi-final with Monaco on Wednesday.
This could open the door for the Goddesses to snatch the win at 49/20 with us.
