City to bounce back and Swans could fly

There promises to be plenty more drama over the weekend in the Premier League, with issues still to be settled at both ends of the table.

Manchester City will be keen to respond following their defeat at Chelsea when they welcome Hull on Saturday. The Citizens are far from guaranteed a top-four spot and really need to win (4/23) on Saturday.

Seventeenth-placed Hull’s revival continued against Middlesbrough in midweek and they have now won five times in 2017. However, none of those have been away from home and at 15/1 they could struggle at the Etihad.

Stoke’s clash with Liverpool also catches the eye on Saturday. The Reds are also chasing the top four and with those around them having games in hand, they need to win at 10/11.

The Potters seem to be winding down but they often raise their game for the big clubs and are 3/1 for the points. This looks set to be a tight one and the draw at 53/20 could be the best bet.

At the bottom of the table, West Ham entertain Swansea. The Hammers’ recent slump has raised relegation fears while, in contrast, the Swans have been playing well without getting the results they perhaps deserve.

Paul Clement’s men were unlucky against Tottenham on Wednesday and will relish the trip to the London Stadium and look a good price at 51/20 to win.

Another game that concerns the bottom end is Burnley‘s trip to Middlesbrough. The Clarets now look safe following Tuesday’s win over Stoke and this trip could see them break their duck (11/5).

Nineteenth-placed Boro will have been hurt by their defeat to Hull and caretaker boss Steve Agnew has work to do. A home win is 7/5 but this could well be another disappointing afternoon for the Riverside faithful.

West Brom and Southampton meet in a battle of mid-tables sides and a draw (11/5) seems a likely result.

On Monday, Crystal Palace welcome Arsenal. The Eagles’ recent strong run ended on Wednesday at Southampton so they will be keen to get back on track and make it three straight home wins.

Odds of 33/10 for a Palace win are tempting but Arsenal were good against West Ham and have won on their last three trips to Selhurst Park. It could be a cagey one but the Gunners should just have enough and are 4/5 for victory.
