Manchester City look set to continue their recent improvement when they welcome Stoke to the Etihad on Wednesday evening.
The Citizens head into the game on the back of a nine-match unbeaten run in all competitions and despite the Potters being in decent form, they will be confident of closing the gap between themselves and Chelsea to eight points.
Pep Guardiola has had to chop and change in recent weeks in order to manage his squad through the rigours of playing in three different competitions and is again likely to rotate.
Despite his alterations, there is a feeling Guardiola’s side are starting to find some form and another victory, which is 4/19, will only further boost their belief.
The home team are expected to welcome Kevin De Bruyne back after starting him on the bench in Sunday’s 2-0 win at Sunderland while Nicolas Otamendi may also be included.
All eyes will be on the in-form Sergio Aguero, who has netted five in his last three outings, and is 47/20 to break the deadlock. City have kept clean sheets in six of their last seven in the Premier League and a home win to zero is 10/11.
Stoke beat ailing Middlesbrough 2-0 on Saturday but their away form has been poor this season, with the Potters losing five of their last six on the road in the league.
That run has included defeats at Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham so boss Mark Hughes will be desperate to avoid a similar fate when he returns to his former club.
Marko Arnautovic netted both goals at the weekend and having scored a brace when the Potters beat City at home last season, he is 15/4 to grab a goal at anytime.
Youngster Ramadan Sobhi has also impressed since breaking into the side and will be keen to make an impact in this one.
However, Stoke have a habit of conceding away from home, keeping only three clean sheets on the road in all competitions.
City have also been leading at both half-time and full-time in their last four Premier League games, an outcome that is 20/31.
