Daily Tips – Milan can get back on track at Bologna

AC Milan have been struggling for form of late but they can get back to winning ways at Bologna this evening.

The Rossoneri head into the clash on the back of four straight defeats but during that run their performances haven’t been that bad.  Losses to Scudetto chasers Juventus and Napoli were perhaps to be expected, and against both Udinese and Sampdoria they were arguably unlucky not to come away with anything.

A win for the San Siro side would put them firmly back into contention for European football next season, while Bologna are seemingly heading for a mid table finish.

The hosts are 13th in Serie A and 13 points clear of the relegation places, with Pescara, Crotone and Palermo already looking destined for the drop.

Bologna have managed five wins in 11 attempts at home but against the top sides in Serie A they’ve struggled, with just two points to show from seven games against opponents currently in the top seven and they’re yet to pick up any points at home against any of those teams.

The Rossoblu downed tools completely at the weekend as they were thrashed 7-1 by Napoli and they could well be heading for another loss this evening.

Milan are 5/4 to come out on top in the standard match betting market but the 51/20 for an away win with over 2.5 goals is my top bet for this Serie A match-up.  Six of the last 10 games involving one of these two sides have gone beyond the 2.5 goals mark, and as neither are particularly good at keeping clean sheets I’m expecting a few goals this evening as well as a Milan win at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
