Osasuna host Valencia today in a La Liga relegation showdown and picking out a goalscorer may be the best way forward in this clash.
The home side are rock bottom of the Spanish top flight with just one win and seven points to show from 16 La Liga clashes to date. Los Che haven’t fared much better with 12 points so far, and they head into this meeting seeking a first La Liga win since October.
Valencia, despite their struggles, will probably come away with a fourth La Liga win as Osasuna have been truly woeful, with seven successive league losses. The visitors are 20/21 to grab the victory but there is better value to be found in backing goalscorers against a porous Osasuna defence.
Rodrigo Moreno is Valencia’s top La Liga scorer this season with four goals in 14 appearances and at 7/4 an anytime a goal from the former Benfica man is my top bet for this clash. Midfielder Dani Parejo has three goals to his name so far – including one in each of his last two outings – and he is also worth a mention at 9/4 to find the back of the net at anytime.
The hosts may well grab a goal against Valencia, who haven’t kept a clean sheet all season, and midfielder Roberto Torres looks a good candidate at 7/2 to score a goal at anytime for Los Rojillos.
