Monaco look the real deal both in Europe and domestically this season and can move to the top of the Ligue 1 table with a win at Dijon tonight.
Monday was a bit of a mixed bag as the game didn’t go how I expected – Inter Milan went 3-0 up with the first three shots on target, but Fiorentina did fight back and an anytime goalscorer bet on Nikola Kalinic came in at least.
Hopefully Monaco will do the business and with five successive wins, and just one goal conceded, they head to struggling Dijon in devastating form.
The hosts have lost three games on the spin and are now just one point above the relegation places. They’ve been beaten to nil in two of those three defeats and my top bet for this encounter is an away win to zero at 17/10.
Only Spurs have managed to breach Les Rouges et Blancs’ backline in November and they have three consecutive Ligue 1 clean sheets.
Dijon have only failed to score in two of their seven home games this season although the goals have dried up a bit of late and Monaco may be too hard for them to break down this evening.
Valere Germain has been in good scoring form for Monaco, with two goals in the 4-0 thrashing of Marseille at the weekend, and he is 6/4 to score at anytime, or 21/4 to score first, both of which are worth consideration.
