Preview – Chelsea v Leicester

Chelsea and Leicester meet in Saturday’s early game with both sides hoping for three points that could kickstart their title run.

The Blues made a strong start to the campaign and after a brief blip, got back on track before the international break with a win at Hull. The Foxes are yet to truly gel this year but will relish the trip to Stamford Bridge.

New boss Antonio Conte still seems to be introducing his methods in West London and the victory on Humberside was the first time he has utilised his preferred three-man defence. Despite the comfortable scoreline, Chelsea were far from perfect but will be looking to justify their status as 5/9 favourites in front of their home fans.

The potential return of influential captain John Terry may well stabilise them defensively but it is also high time their exciting attack started to gel on a consistent basis. One area of the team that does look strong this season is up front, Spaniard Diego Costa netting nine times for club and country already and he is 33/10 to open the scoring with ComeOn!

Leicester’s trip to Stamford Bridge last term was a celebratory occasion, with it being their 38th and final game of an historic campaign.

Balancing expectations and the extra workload that comes with playing in the Champions League has proved awkward for Claudio Ranieri’s men and they will be hoping for better than on their last away jaunt when they were smashed 4-1 by Manchester United.

That was their third straight away defeat in the Premier League and although an excellent price, 5/1 for them to win perhaps reflects their situation as one of only three teams not to earn a single point away from home this season, with the draw 16/5.

However, against a shaky defence, new signing Islam Slimani will fancy himself to continue his decent start to life in the Premier League. The Algerian is excellent in the air and is 21/10 to score at anytime.

The Blues won 4-2 after extra time when these sides met last month in the EFL Cup and another high-scoring affair may well be on the cards, so over 3.5 goals at 8/5 could interest those looking for value.

Don’t forget, if you’re new to ComeOn we have enhanced odds of 4/1 for Chelsea to win and 8/1 on Leicester to win. And you’ll get a £10 free bet on your first deposit.
