Chelsea host Leicester in the early kick off on Saturday as the Premier League returns following the international break.
The two sides met just a few weeks ago in the EFL Cup at the King Power Stadium, with Chelsea coming out on top 4-2 after extra-time.
Home advantage this time around may swing this one in Chelsea’s favour over the 90 minutes. The Blues have won two and lost one in the league so far this term at Stamford Bridge but it is Leicester’s form on the road that really encourages backing a home win.
The Foxes are pointless on their travels so far with just three goals scored – one in each defeat – and 10 conceded. Claudio Ranieri’s men did grab a Champions League victory at Club Brugge but in the Premier League they’ve lost at Manchester United, Liverpool and Hull.
John Terry is a doubt for Chelsea and if he misses out their defence looks noticeably weaker despite the summer return of David Luiz. The Leicester defence has also been a tad porous with 11 conceded so I’m expecting goals in this one.
Chelsea to win with both teams to score at 2/1 is my top bet for this clash. I was considering a home win and over 2.5 goals at 1/1 but the bigger price has swung me towards the both teams to bag option.
Cesc Fabregas hit two in extra-time in the cup win over the Foxes a few weeks ago and if he starts the 14/5 on a goal for the midfielder appeals, and with Diego Costa in form the 33/10 on the striker getting the first goal is worth taking on.
