Surprise package Las Palmas are still riding high after getting over their week three defeat to Sevilla by beating Malaga 1-0 on Saturday night.
At the time of writing they sit fourth in the table having claimed three victories this season and Saturday see’s the only team with a 100% winning record Real Madrid come to town.
Real head coach Zinedine Zidane has just celebrated turning Real Madrid into record breakers after the 2-0 triumph at Espanyol marked their 16th straight win.
There is no doubt that Real will be too strong for Las Palmas, however, I do expect them to put up a fight. Get real to win with both teams to score at 7/5.
Barcelona also face an away trip as they head to the ‘El Molinon’ to face Sporting De Gijon. The Catalans suffered a huge shock losing to minnows Alaves in week three but have since righted that wrong thrashing Leganes 5-1 last time out.
Sporting themselves have had a solid start after two wins, a draw and sole defeat (at the time of writing) leaves them handily placed in 8th spot.
However, with MSN (Messi, Neymar, Suarez) looking in dominant mood it really is a case of how many will Barcelona score on the way to victory.
Get on over 4.5 goals in the match at 37/20 as the best bet for value in this one.
Real Betis host Malaga in the Friday night game where 12th plays 13th. A draw looks like the safest bet as neither have produced inspiring performances yet and appear to still be settling in to the new season.
In other games…
Sevilla are unbeaten this season and are showing signs of the form that has won them numerous Europa league crowns in recent years.
They travel to Athletic Bilbao on Saturday afternoon with the belief that they can continue to pile the pressure on Real at the top.
They look a good price too at 51/20 with us to collect the away win, current form must be taken into consideration and Sevilla are on song right now.
The early kick off on Saturday sees Real Sociedad travel to Eibar. Eibar have started the season strongly and sit 7th after their 5 matches so far. Eibar look a nice 31/20 to get the win at home and the price does not perhaps do them justice.
Sunday see’s bottom club (and winless) Valencia head to Leganes. As mentioned above, Leganes were taught a lesson by Barcelona on Sunday and I fancy Valencia at 6/5 to win their first match of the season.
Diego Simone’s Atletico Madrid welcome Deportivo to the Vicente Calderón Stadium on Sunday and Atletico to win 4/25 is no surprise.
Osasuna travel to Villarreal and Espanyol welcome Celta Vigo to the city of Barcelona and Monday rounds off week 6 as Granada travel to giant killers Alaves.
