Round three 3 of the Bundesliga season kicks off on Friday with only Bayern Munich and Hertha BSC enjoying 100% winning starts to the 2016/17 campaign whilst Schalke and Werder Bremen will be aiming to collect their first points of the season.
Friday’s game see’s SC Freiburg head to the ‘Rhein Energie Stadion’ to face an unbeaten FC Koln side who will be buoyed after a victory over Darmstadt 98 in their opening fixture and a well-earned 0-0 draw away at Wolfsburg last time out.
SC Freiburg have enjoyed a mixed start to their campaign. An opening day defeat to Hertha BSC was followed up with a very impressive 3-1 home win against a dangerous Borussia Monchengladbach side.

The defending Champions have scored eight goals and conceded none in their opening two matches so far. A 6-0 demolition of Werder Bremen in week one was followed up with a 2-0 away win at Schalke leaving the Munich giants in their familiar place at the top of the Bundesliga.
Ingolstadt are the visitors to the Allianz Arena on Saturday and it is likely they will head home empty handed.
With Bayern’s ability to find the back of the net expect Bayern to get off to a flyer. Get on there to be over 1.5 goals in the first half at 5/6.
Borussia Dortmund were on fire mid-week putting 6 past Legia Warsaw in the Champions League. However, it is quite possible a trip to Poland may have affected their league form as they face Darmstadt 98 on Saturday at home.
Darmstadt 98 claimed their first points of the season last time out with a 1-0 home win against Eintracht. Expect a tough game for Dortmund and for Darmstadt to come away with a well-deserved point at 31/4 with us.

On Saturday Hoffenheim entertain Wolfsburg whilst Bayer Leverkusen travel to Eintracht Frankfurt and Hamburg take on an impressive Leipzig side.
The Saturday evening game sees bottom club Werder Bremen face a tricky away trip to Borussia Monchengladbach. However, Bremen, will fancy their chances after heavy rain pushed back Borussia’s Champions League tie with Manchester City to the Wednesday, meaning they have lost a day’s preparation.

The final game of the weekend sees unbeaten Hertha BSC welcome Schalke 04 to the ‘Olympia stadion’ after wins over Freiburg and Ingolstadt respectively.
