Zlatan Ibrahimovic has scored three goals in just two Premier League appearances so far this season and he can continue his electric start when Manchester United head to Hull for the late kick off today.
The Tigers were written off by most – me included – before a ball was kicked but have proved us all wrong with a 100% record so far, although getting anything out of United may be too big an ask for the newly-promoted club.
There were questions over Ibrahimovic too following his move to Old Trafford; is he now too old for this level of football? Will he be able to adapt to the Premier League? We already have answers to those concerns, ‘no’ and ‘yes’ respectively.
Hull caretaker boss Mike Phelan has been forced to use midfielder Jake Livermore in the heart of his defence due to his limited options and he may continue with the former Spurs man at the back on Saturday, although Harry Maguire is close to a return.
Whichever option Phelan chooses it won’t matter too much and Ibrahimovic should be able to profit against a makeshift back line.
He’s available at 17/1 to score three or more if you’re after a big price and that’s well within the realms of possibility on Saturday.
